We’ve had a beautiful and wonderful show last Friday at Luxor Live together with Thistle Sifter! The ending of the show was sudden and scary when someone in the audience fainted. Respect and love to the people giving first aid to the man and the Luxor Live crew for their quick actions

The man in question is okay, we got to talk to him later and he went home with his family. We’re really sorry we couldn’t talk to all of you after the show but we are also very glad that the man was alright and back on his feet. Hopefully we’ll see you at the next one on the 13th of december at De Spot Middelburg, of Podium aan Zee Scheveningen on the 14th of December!

Dear Kingfishers, Today we are proud to announce the release of our new EP Rise! Four songs about hope, love, nuance and unconditional respect for one another, or lack thereof.  With a vivacious, symphonic and sometimes folky sound, this release features many aspects of the band’s diverse style.

As you probably know, our shows have all been postponed, including our annual acoustic extravaganza at the Veur Theater in Leidschendam.

But we have some good news: we’ve teamed up with the Rietveld Theater in Delft to stream a live concert on the 6th of June!

Today we launch a brand new video for our song Technicoloured Eyes! 

It is our first fully animated video starring Diederickje. 

Diederickje was created by Joke Rijnveld-Stortenbeek for the album art of our fourth album (also called Technicoloured Eyes) so you might have seen him already on the album cover, T-shirts, bags and stage banners but now we introduce this peculiar and wonderful creature properly:

Diederickje is a symbol of the creative mind.

The one who sees beauty and colours in the world.

The one who spreads love and seeks for connection between all living creatures.

So without further ado: here is Technicoloured Eyes! Animated by the wonderful and talented Anne Bertels.
