Our new album Skin of the Earth will be released on the 24th of september but you can pre-order it now at Bol.com!
The site is in Dutch but it is possible to ship outside the Netherlands and Europe.

20/07/2010 - In Memoriam Marina Shafer

Marina came into our lives when she wanted to start a Fanclub after seeing one of our shows.After a lot of e-mails we knew she was a very special person; she became a friend and a part of the Kingfisher Sky Family. There fore she will be missed by us tremendously.

06/06/2010 - Release-party for our second album in The Hague!

We will be releasing our second album in september and to celebrate we'll be playing our new songs for the first time on the 18th of september in 'Het Paard van Troje' in The Hague. More shows will follow, we'll keep you posted!"

16/05/2010 - Kingfishersky.com is now available in Dutch as well!

We've got some exciting news for you guys; Kingfishersky.com can now be viewed in both English and Dutch! We received several requests to add our native language to the site, and we decided we could not hold out on you guyz any longer! Click on the buttons on the right to change the language of the site! Don't forget to sign our guestbook and tell us what you think!

26/04/2010 - Change of the guard

We are sad to announce that Daan has decided to part ways with Kingfisher Sky.
Daan has been of great value to Kingfisher Sky and we want to thank him for all the fun and fantastic moments we have had together and wish him all the luck in the world with his musical future. But....we already found a great successor and we proudly introduce Chris to you. Chris Henny will be joining Kingfisher Sky and we are looking forward to play with him.

16/02/2010 - General update of things!

First off, Kingfisher Sky started recording this week. We are looking forward to record the brand new songs to send them into the world! Second, great news for our Spanish fans! Jorge made us a tribute page which you can find here. Of course, we keep you updated about the recordings on this page and on facebook. 21/12/2009 - Our band is complete once more!

After a short yet efficient search, we are happy to announce that we have found a new keyboard player. His name is David Gutiérrez Rojas, who has previously worked with Elleanore and Magion. David's playing style and personality are a great addition to Kingfisher Sky: we are looking forward to playing live with David and recording our second CD with him.

20/12/2009 - Happy Holidays!

We want to wish you all a very merry and happy Christmas and all the best for 2010! We had a great year, played with Delain several times (Thanks Delain for all the fun!), played with Epica in Paradiso ( Thanks Epica for that great show) and we are working hard on our 2nd album!
For now we've uploaded a new homevideo for you guys. Kingfisher Sky plays 'The Man with the Child in his Eyes' by Kate Bush. Performed by Judith, Maaike and Edo. Filmed and Edited by Richard Hilgeman. Enjoy!

01/11/2009 - Change of the Guard (Slight Return)

We find ourselves without a keyboardplayer yet again. Unfortunatly Rene can’t combine Kingfisher Sky with his other bands and activities. It was short but sweet and now the search for the new KS keyman/woman begins!

10/10/2009 - The new KFS website is online!

We want to welcome you to our new website. We are very proud to show it to you after all the hard work behind the scenes.
We try to keep it as up to date as possible with newsfacts and photo's if there are any. Did you make photo's at a Kingfisher Sky show? You can send them to foto@kingfishersky.com and we make sure they will end up on our various sites. When you mail your photo's, make sure you put your name in the email and if you have a website, your website as well, so we can give you the credits you deserve. We are always happy to see any photos taken at shows!

We like to thank you all for supporting us and hope you'll continue doing that in the future.
